Use the site without registering or identifying yourself.
TORMTA is designed as an educational and taxpayer-resource website. There are no user accounts or registration requirements.
Anonymous to TORMTA by design.
The survey does not request a name, email address, telephone number, street address, parcel number, exact income, or other contact information. Questions are optional, and broad ranges are used where practical instead of exact assessment or tax-bill amounts.
When a respondent submits the survey, the responses are collected through Google Forms and stored in the linked Google Sheet associated with TORMTA's survey. TORMTA retains those responses so it can review patterns and summarize results. Survey responses are not used to build a mailing list or contact respondents.
Survey results may be summarized in aggregate to identify recurring concerns and research priorities. TORMTA will not publish an individual free-text response when doing so could identify the respondent.
Google, as the form provider, may process technical information under its own privacy policies. For that reason, TORMTA describes the survey as anonymous to TORMTA rather than promising complete technical anonymity.
Your assessment notes stay in your browser unless you choose to share them.
The assessment worksheet on the Resources page is a browser-based organizational tool. The site code does not submit those entries to TORMTA or the Town. If you use the download or print buttons, the resulting notes remain under your control.
Email is optional and separate from the survey.
No email address is required to use TORMTA. If you voluntarily email info@tormta.com, the mailbox will necessarily receive your email address and whatever information you include. Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your own purpose.
No TORMTA account system or advertising tracker is built into this site.
The website package itself contains no user database, account system, advertising network, or TORMTA analytics code. A web-hosting provider may create ordinary technical logs as part of operating a website, and external sites linked from TORMTA have their own privacy practices.
TORMTA links to Town, State, school-district, Google, and other external resources for convenience. Once you follow an external link, that provider’s terms and privacy practices apply.
